Today we start a new Series called “One Easter One Joy” based on the book of Acts. Each Sunday through Easter we will look at a different reading in Acts and see the oneness that it bring us.

One Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.

Today we look at “one heart and soul” from Acts 4:32. As the early Disciples went out to testify about the resurrection they went united in heart and soul. They went out with both their physical and spiritual lives filled. God fills our Physical needs as we share as Christian stewards. God provides our spiritual needs with Word and Sacrament thorough the church.

Now the full number of those who believed were of one heart and soul, and no one said that any of the things that belonged to him was his own, but they had everything in common.
