Today we focus on Jesus accomplishing the mission of our salvation for us (John 12:44-50) He has won us to himself through a pierced and marred (Is. 52:14) body that dies upon the cross. By his resurrection he has adopted (Gal. 4:5) us and placed himself in our hearts. “God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts.” Gal. 4:6

As redeemed and adopted children we can say “Boy do I need Jesus everyday!” And so it is. However, we can also declare “Boy do I have Jesus!” With Jesus everything changes. Satan offers selfishness. The world offers selfishness. Jesus gives selflessness. I’m glad I’m on his team.
