Group of members come to the church office conference room to collate and staple bulletins and newsletters.
The men are striving to know the Joy of Christ better through the study of His word, loving and serving our Lord as He first loved, and served us. The Band of Brothers is committed to becoming the men that GOD has called us to be. The Band-of-Brothers meets each Saturday morning at 8:30-10:00 a.m. in the Meyer Hall (except the first Saturday of the month - then we meet at Skillets Restaurant at 8:00 a.m.).
Sarasota Spring LWML Rally at Faith Lutheran Church, Parrish, FL. Includes: Worship Service, Guest Speaker, Luncheon and Business Meeting. A Gifts from the Heart collection will be made for Lutheran Heritage Foundation, a mission organization that shares books of the Lutheran faith in people's own languages around the world. Contemporary Worship Service - the choice of music for this service is more contemporary.
Lakeside Church offers Sunday School Class during the 10:30 Sunday service. The Class is located in the parlor (behind the narthex). We welcome toddlers through children age 10. (Teacher returns Palm Sunday).
Children's Bulletins are available during service.
Traditional Service - this is a tradition Lutheran Worship Service taken from the Lutheran Service Book (LSB), including traditional hymns.
The Quilting Bees work together on quilting projects. No sewing experience is necessary to join this group! Completed quilts are given to Lutheran World Relief for Distribution.
The writers are a group of non-members from the community who come to Lakeside to create memoirs of their life experience and share them with one another.
