Welcome to the celebration of Pentecost. We celebrate the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the church for amazing multiplication through God’s people delivering word and sacrament to all the nooks and carnies of life. The Old Testament connects the giving out of the 10 commandments on Pentecost known as the festival weeks from Leviticus 23. Today we walk through Exodus 19 and see how God makes His covenant with his people that connects them to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirt. Just as he does it today for you and I.

Exodus 19:5-6 Now therefore, if you will indeed obey my voice and keep my covenant, you shall be my treasured possession among all peoples, for all the earth is mine; 6 and you shall be to me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.’ These are the words that you shall speak to the people of Israel.”
