The beloved service of Good Friday shows us who we really are in this great big vast world. John 19:30 When Jesus had received the sour wine, he said, “It is finished,” and he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.  The darkness of Good Friday brings light to us. His death brings our life.

Jesus says in John 10 “I lay down my life that I may take it up again. No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord.”

Jesus lays his life down for you. He is crucified for you eternal life of peace and joy. He does all the work on the cross and now we respond with love and endless service. He says no crucifixion for you. I have it covered. In loving kindness we say thank you and continue His mission for us.
