Today we follow Jesus as he raises us up as a new temple of the Lord. When Jesus went in to cleanse the Temple in John 2 the Jewish leaders asked for a sign that you can do such things and he said,

“Destroy this temple and in three days I shall raise it up again.”

– John 2:19.

Jesus took them straight the cross and yet they had no idea. Jesus takes us to the cross and delivers us forgives and grave.  He makes us into a new temple of the Lord, by driving out our corruption and designing us to give the Father glory. As we look at this through the resurrection of Jesus we can join in with his disciples saying

 ^“When therefore he was raised from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this, and they believed the Scripture and the word that Jesus had spoken.”

– John 2:22
