Jesus invites us to follow Him with resurrection Joy! Happy Easter! Alleluia! Jesus knew that his disciples would be broken hearted and full of weeping because of his arrest, trial and crucifixion. He promised them their sorrow would be turned to joy.

Truly, truly, I say to you, you will weep and lament, but the world will rejoice. You will be sorrowful, but your sorrow will turn into joy.
– John 16:20

In our world we know sorrow, mourning and sadness. Lamenting runs through a broken world where our bodies break down, our relationship break apart, and our life seems broken. God has a cure. It is the resurrection that turns us from a broken spirit to a joy filled Spirit. The antidote to a broken world is the resurrection of Jesus in our lives. Sin is forgiven and replaced with Easter Joy
