Lakeside Church offers Sunday School Class during the 10:30 Sunday service. The Class is located in the parlor (behind the narthex). We welcome toddlers through children age 10. Children's Bulletins are available during service.
Everyone's welcome to come help make quilts, even if you can't sew! We work together to make as many quilts as we can during season. The finished quilts are sent all over the world through Lutheran World Relief.
A new Women's Bible Study meeting time has been added on Monday's from 10:00-11:15 in the sanctuary. It will be led by Diane Kremkow. (Both the morning and evening classes (6:00-7:00pm) will use the same study and follow the same schedule.)

Pastor Dahlke is offering a New Member Orientation Class to be held on Tuesday, January 28th, at 10:00 a.m., in the office conference room. You will learn about Lakeside and the beliefs of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod.
The Stitch and Chatter group meets weekly on Tuesday, in Meyer Hall. They make a variety of knitted, crocheted, counted cross-stitch and other sewn and handcrafted items. They do charitable activities from time-to-time.
The Venice Treehouse Pre-School children come to the Lakeside Sanctuary every Wednesday, at 9:45, for 30 minutes for Chapel. We feel so much JOY watching 40 preschoolers pray, sing, dance and hear a Bible story.
Group of members come to the church office conference room to collate and staple bulletins and newsletters.

The Band-of-Brothers meets each Saturday morning at 8:30-10:00 a.m. in the Meyer Hall (except the first Saturday of the month - then we meet at Skillets Restaurant at 8:00 a.m.)

Come to a Piano Dinner to celebrate Valentine’s - planned for February 5th! The event is in celebration of St. Valentines and all the Love that we share in the name of Jesus. We welcomes Tony Zeck (pianist) for another year of sharing his magnificent piano playing of Love songs. It will be followed with dinner in Meyer Hall. The night begins hearing Tony playing in the sanctuary at 5:00 p.m. Dinner will follow in Meyer Hall. All are welcome and feel free to welcome a friend or family member. A sign-up sheet will be placed in the Narthex.

The February LWML meeting will be held in Meyer Hall on Thursday, February 6th at 11:30 am. The theme will be “Stop and Smell the Roses”. We will be making Valentine cards for Veterans. A Crockpot Chicken Slider luncheon will be served. Please sign-up in the narthex. All ladies are welcome to come and make new friends! We are looking forward to seeing you there!

On Super Bowl Sunday (February 9th) - the LWML will be hosting a Souper Bowl Sunday Collection. They will be collecting cans of soup (with pop tops, if possible) and crackers that will be given to the South County Food Pantry. Please bring your items on Sunday, February 9th and place them in the pot in the Narthex. They thank you for your generosity and for being Christ's hands and feet.
