Mennonite Disaster Services – Summer Youth Program
Lakeside Lutheran Church 2401 Tamiami Trl, Venice, FL, United StatesLakeside Lutheran Church has partnered with MDS (Mennonite Disaster Service) for the summer. Their Summer Youth Program is a life-changing experience. Regardless of their construction skill level, they have a place to work with weekly volunteer teams, giving them hands-on work combine with spiritual formation to have a deep impact on the budding generation of volunteers. MDS will send a preparation group to Lakeside from June 3rd-12th. The first group of youth workers arrive June 16th. New groups come weekly. They will finish up July 27.

The Band of Brothers is committed to becoming the men that GOD has called us to be. The Band-of-Brothers meets each Saturday morning at 8:30-10:00 a.m. in the Meyer Hall (except the first Saturday of the month - then we meet at Skillets Restaurant at 8:00 a.m.).

SUMMER FOOD DRIVE – for South County Food Pantry
For three weeks in July, Lakeside will be having a Special Collection of Emergency Hurricane Food Supplies to be given to the South County Food Pantry for distribution. The need for food at the pantry is great, and the donations are few.
Women’s Bible Study POTLUCK (off campus)
Women of Lakeside, join us for a Bible study next Monday, at 6:00pm in the sanctuary. It is a great opportunity to grow in your faith and friendships.
