As we gather as Joyful Christians who Inspire Spiritual Growth and Discipleship, we are mindful of the continuing state of emergency. Below is a summary of our latest practices during the pandemic.
Sunday services in the sanctuary
9:00 am Contemporary and 10:30 am Traditional Worship Services are scheduled each Sunday in the sanctuary. Attendance has been around 50 people at each service with greater than 6’ between seating locations. We have different seating areas reserved for each service throughout the sanctuary. We strongly encourage our onsite worshipers to wear cloth face coverings or face masks when in the building for the safety and security of others and social distance while on the campus. These precautions are in line with the Public Health Advisory issued by the Florida Surgeon General on June 20 and CDC Interim Guidance for Communities of Faith issued May 22 that remain in effect.
These guidance’s also encourage us to provide alternate means of worship for those who are vulnerable. We encourage our vulnerable members to worship with us on line or in the parking lot thru our live local FM radio station at FM 100.9 at these times. In person worship attendance in not a mandatory requirement and you should not feel pressured or embarrassed if you choose not to attend in person.
Holy Communion will be offered on the first and third Sundays of each month. We will have communion in the pew for those in the sanctuary and also at the breezeway for those worshiping in their vehicles. Additionally, we will offer communion immediately after each service in the breezeway for those who drive to the church after viewing the service at home on the first and third Sundays. A special drive in Communion Service is planned for November 1.
