Today we look at Mark 1:1-8 and see the baptism of John the Baptist preparing the way for Jesus’ arrival in his ministry. Mark quotes Isaiah and gets the ball rolling as John the Baptist and Jesus fulfill his prophecy from God.

Behold, I send my messenger before your face, who will prepare your way.” Mk.1:2 & Is. 40:3

This concept of being born again in Baptism is filled faith, repentance, forgiveness and love. It connects us with the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit. It sends us with the word of God to spread the Gospel of Jesus as well. God is with us!
