Today, we hear from Jeremiah (11:18-20) as he cries out to the Lord for help in the midst of his life circumstances. His example for us to flee to the Lord when people want to cut you down like a tree. Jeremiah’s own village wanted to do him in. We learn that our mission form God is not always too comfortable for us either. Don’t be discouraged. No need to turn back from the mission. God is committed to you. Your tree (life) will not be put to death. God will vindicate your faith!
